ROCKET MAN. (1997) Harlan Williams. Disney. Kids Comedy. PG ( 4 or 5 mild expletives, but I caught no harsh or profane language; some sophomoric humor based on bodily functions aimed at a pubescent audience; opening has a child in a dryer, pretending it's a space ship until he gets locked in it and spins around - a stunt I hope no children try to copy). A klutzy computer programmer is recruited as an astronaut. Mr. Williams is a clean version of Jim Carrey. The film is humorous enough for kids, although some of the comedy stems from flatulence jokes. Vid. Alt. Visit To A Small Planet. Jerry Lewis as an alien who comes to earth to study our ways.
